We spent today resting our feet in in our Airbnb apartment in Berlin. I’ve been thinking a lot about how this trip will change me and how I think.

A Love Letter to Scotland

Aye, bonnie Scotland. This was our second time visiting Scotland in two years. In 2013, we fell in love with the fog, the dark, old stone of Edinburgh, the accents, the Highlands, the bagpipes, and the fish and chips, so when we were making a list of places to visit on this trip, Edinburgh was number one. It is the only other place we’ve experienced the sense of home (besides Canada). Even without our Scottish heritage, we feel connected to the city.

To The Kingdom of Fife!

The time we have spent so far in Edinburgh has been flying by! We have been walking this beautiful city as much as we can, soaking up the beautiful weather it’s given us (yes, even Scotland can have beautiful fall weather!)

As much as we wanted to do many things ourselves and stay away from the typical tourist experience, Geoff really wanted to visit the Old Course at St. Andrews, so to avoid driving on the other side of the road, we booked a day tour that took us around the region of Fife.
